Leapin' Lizards

My daughter took this photo of this little fella. We have plenty of these guys crawling around outside as soon as the weather gets warm. Sometimes we will be sitting on the front steps and they will come up pretty close. They seem inrigued to look at us as we are at looking at them! I sometimes will catch myself talking to one like it's a puppy and it will tilt it's little green head almost like it's listening to me! Yep...I'm crazy! They are actually pretty to look at. I don't want to hold one though. Eeeeeeeeeeeeek! Gives me the hebee gebeees! Just wanted to intoduce you to our garden friend. Do any of you have these around?

Just one Wish

I found this one wish in my yard. I didn't scour too hard to see if there was more. I'm sure there is! My lawn has many different weeds growing in it !Lol! Anyways, when I was child I loved making wishes and blowing these soft white, feathery, little petals in the air! Just like blowing out candles you were never suppose to tell your wish or it wouldn't come true! There's so many things to wish for....peace,love,health,happiness,wealth and so on.... So without telling you what I wish for I'll let you think about what your wish would be and why? I think these wishes are something we never out grow. So go out and look for those wishes! You never know they just might come true!

A Lovely Twist

I just love this idea! This can be taken straight from your cupboard! Just save your soup cans and vegetable cans, sans the labels and voila ...you have containers for your fresh flower arrangements. Just run them down the center of your table. I love the mix of flowers shown in this photo too! Don't be afraid to mix it up! Fresh blackberries and colorful apricots were used in this display! How fun! {for those of you who have fruit growing in you yard}. I found this photo in the Southern Living May issue. Just thought I'd share this easy and fresh idea. Perfect for porch tables and picnics! Have a happy day!

Refreshing Raspberry Sorbetto

I just had to buy this raspberry sorbet the other day at the local grocery store! It was calling my name. The weather here in Atlanta is heating up and this was just the perfect thing to cool me down! Ooh let me tell you it is incredible if you like sorbets! I just grabbed the raspberry because it's a favorite of mine but there was many other flavors too! I've never seen this brand before now. It's called TALENTI. There is a website on the carton at

http://www.talentigelato.com/ for those of you interested in this brand.

I could seriously eat this whole carton myself but I've been good just a few spoonfuls here and there . I hid the carton in the freezer. My children don't know about it! It's a secret between you,me and I did let my husband taste it.So that was nice of me. Lol!

Well I just thought I'd share with you my find! Perfect for those hot summer days coming up!

Enjoy!

I Dined and Wined Last Night

Sorry about this long empty space.....keep scaling down.......................

Still scaling down................................

Here we go..........................

It was a grand opening celebration party at a restaurant called Livingston last night. It is directly across the famous Fox Theatre. My husband took me along with a few of his co-workers. It's been awhile since I've been out and about in the party scene! It was alot of fun! Definately a people watching crowd!! The magazine Jezebel was there with their photographers. They took a shot of our group! So we shall see...I might be in next month's issue! You all can say you knew me when! Lol!The picture above is one of their private rooms. It ! It has the most beautiful windows that face the Fox Theatre.
They have outside seating too so it will be a fabulous place to eat and people watch on Peachtree Street!
Looking up at the sky line! Then back in I went to look down at all the people!
Then we headed over to the beautiful St. Regis hotel for some wine tasting. This hotel is simply exquisite!

I'm just letting you take it all in! It was truly a sight to see! Then we had our wine tasting....

Wow! Can you imagine? To say the least I tried a few too many wines last night.Lol! They all tasted wonderful to me! It was so much fun and if you are ever in Atlanta I highly recommend visiting these two places! They are definately a sight to see!Have a great Friday! Also it's Etsy Day today!!!

I'm giving a shout out to this wonderful marketplace where you can buy hand made arts and crafts from around the world. Most of you have heard of Etsy but if you haven'y check it out!

Still trying to keep fit

Another lovely image from my friend Suzee Que! I think this is so cute!I've been doing well with my excercises. Going on my 2nd week. I'm keeping up with my routine. Still trying to eat better too!I think it gets easier once you finally get in your routine. It's just getting started! This image is too cute! Jell-O Girl tells how to do the daily excercises. I think it's great routine to get you started! I love to eat the fat free Jell-o pudding snacks! For extra added sweetness I add some fat free coolwhip on top and that's my dessert! Yum! I also make frozen coolwhip sandwhiches with graham crackers. I've told you all before sweets are my downfall so I try to come up with other options. So here's to Jell-O! Don't forget to do your daily excercises!

I Just Love Lavender

The tiny fragrant puple flowers that shoot out from dark green spikes. They are a mound of gray foliage and are so fragrant and pretty! I have seen fields of them in the south of France and it is a sight to see! The picture above is a watercolor drawing I did years ago inspired by my travels. Again I've tried my luck at growing this flower but I usually don't have luck keeping it alive. It's my brown thumb! Lol! Well last Spring I bought about 7 plants.

Here is one of my growing mounds and I can't wait to see some shoots coming out soon!

Here is my field of lavender! I really hope they do well this summer! My climate is very hot and dry in the summer ... so we shall see!!! I love to cut bouquets of them and put them in vases all around! It's definately one of my favorites! How about any of you??? Any luck with Lavender?Let me know if you have any secrets for keeping them healthy. Thanks! Have a great rest of the day!

NO Cinnamon Rolls This Morning

My son was so funny this morning. I've been on a tea staining tag kick! I love the look of them and then adding my own touches to them is so much fun! So anyways...my son thought I was baking this morning and I pulled out my tags out of the oven and he says.."Oh yummy baked paper!"He had to settle for toaster strudles. Anyways... I've made a few different kinds of sets. The top one is called Unlock the Mystery.
These are called Les Fleurs.

And finally Memories of Paris! These tags are fun and easy to do if you like to do these sort of things. If not and you like these they can easily be found in my Etsy shop! Wishing you a happy day and have a cup of Tea on me! Lol!

Feeling blue????

Marcela has invited me and everyone to join the blue blog party today! I just love the color blue!
It is definately a favorite of mine! I love all shades of it! I have to admit I love the robin's egg blues and baby blues....Oh and the aqua blues! It's such a pretty color! I was at the local nursery to see what's new for Spring and Summer planting ideas and blue is everywhere!
The pottery is overflowing in all shades of blue! It's really beautiful with the contrast of flowers and shrubs!
I spotted a favorite flower of mine! The blue delphinium. I've tried twice to grow this flower and have not succeeded. I'm not sure if it's the climate I live in or my brown thumb!
I love this color so much I tend to create with it a lot! I create many necklaces with the color blue! This necklace I call Butterfly Kisses is in my Etsy shop right now! Among other inspired blue necklaces!

So if you are in a blue mood today check out........

You will be singing the blues! Thanks for taking a peek at my blues today! Have a great day!

Feeling a bit sluggish

Yep...... I feel like a pudge! I started this past Monday after the Easter holiday to start eating better. I've been pigging out! Of course while on vacation I ate and drank those yummy ,fruity cocktails that are high in calories!!!Anyways I've decided to eat more greens{salads}like the one above take away the olives. Also adding more fruits too to my diet. It's just so hard to keep on track!I'm a jogger so I run about 2 miles a day or at least 5 times a week. I do try and work out by myself with the weights too. It's just eating right is what needs to change! I also admit I love sweets! Cookies, cakes, pastries...you name it!That's my downfall!Although I love crackers and cheese and chips and dip too!Sigh;.)

So anyways...It's Wednesday and I'm doing a bit better! I'm going for a jog now and wanted to wish you all a healthy day full of healthy choices! Lol! No really!Enjoy!
