A beautiful day!

Just clipped some fresh cuttings from my yard. A little of this and that and put it in one if my favorite pitchers. It's a perfect day to be on the porch just relaxing!Hubby is not home from work yet but thought I would have a little something waiting for him when he comes home!
Such a pretty Sunday afternoon! The kids are all at the neighborhood pool and I'm sitting here wearing one of my latest creations. I call this necklace "Stella"! Not sure why? It's tough coming up with names for items! I love the way it came out. It's pretty unique. This can be found in my etsy shop!

Lol! Yes ...I am wearing clothes too! In case any of you were thinking I wasn't! Just wanted to blog about this beautiful day and wish you all the same!

I Want to Ride my Bicycle...

Well..not really.,but I just love this garden bike! It's so cute and I get to change out the pots of flowers with the seasons. I've told you all before I pretty much have a brown thumb but I love flowers!! Around my mailbox is looking pretty perky actually!!

I think because we've been getting alot of rain and things are staying alive! I tend to be a pot and basket girl and like to use elements in the garden to distract people from my not so pretty landscaping.

A rusty ,old mailbox a friend gave me and I just loved it!

This is my rosemary bush that is growing wild and free...I love herbs just growing here and there! I like to know I have some in the yard for cooking. Well actually for my hubby cause he's the chef in the family! Anyways..just thought I would share some elements of my yard!

Fashion Forward

I have a little fashion designer on my hands! She is 12 and already knows that she wants to be a designer! She is so inspired by Betsey Johnson! Every time we are at the mall she begs me to go in and look at the dresses! She already invisions herself wearing one at the prom! We shall see...I'm hoping she can design her own!Lol! It would be possibly cheaper!I love to look at her little drawings and I think she is very talented! One day I believe her name will be on labels!I just thought I would share some of her inspirations! Have a great day!

The party is over

This past Saturday my daughter had her birthday party/sleepover. It was with 9 girls including her sister and her friend! The party was a Juicy Couture theme. I got many ideas from different blogs and pictures on flickr. I loved the candy idea! I bought all these different size jars at TJ Maxx! They was perfect for fillling with candy! My husband who works near the big mall went to the Juicy store and asked for stickers for the party. We bought candy necklaces, attached little charms on them and brown ribbon and put them in the boxes for the girls. It was really cute! I don't know why I didn't take more pictures..I guess because it was a little grey outside and we had the party on the porch! Everything was pink! Ballons, pink lemonade and the cupcakes........

were perfect! I bought them at Coldstone Cremery! They were Ice cream cupcakes with cake batter center and chocolate hard shell for the cup part and lots of pink frosting! The girls loved them!!!http://www.coldstonecreamery.com/cakes/cupcakes.html in case your interested. They are a great idea!So that was my weekend! I recovered on Sunday. I was pooped! They had fun And I had fun helping with all the planning! Have a great Monday!!

Ooh la la A night In Paris

Keep going down the hall..................................

Here we go...........................

As promised I am going to show you some pictures of my son's 8th grade dance. I was on the decrorating committee. It was alot of fun and hard work! There was only about 12 of us and we worked many hours starting Friday right after school was out until the dance on Sat. night at 7:30 p.m! The above picture leads you down the hall and into the gym!
Which leads you to one of the banners I made.
Then you enter the gym! There is the other banner I made. 8' X 20'. It was huge!
There we have a 17 ft. Eiffel Tower! That took about 6 hrs to put together with hot glue! We don't know what to do with it now. It's ashame to dismantle it but who can store it is the problem!
This was the bistro area!
The food station.
The drink station.

And last but not least...The park bench scene. Ooh la la! The kids truly enjoyed their night in Paris! It was fun working on this dance! In a couple more years I'll be doing it again for my daughter! Just a reminder tomorrow I will draw a name for my 100 post giveaway! If you have not commented on that post ...go ahead an do so!Have a great day!

It's time to Ooh and Ahh

I just recieved my Nordstroms May catalog in the mail. Its loaded with all the summer trends! I just love to ooh and ahh at all the clothing and beautiful fashion accesories. I absolutely love watches! I wear a very classic two toned silver/steel Tag Heuer watch. My husband offered it to me when we first got married and I've replaced it once in our 17 yrs of marriage! It's a diver's watch{indestructible} Not that I dive at all except in a pool. Lol! But I can bang up the face and the crystal face never scratches! It always looks sharp and I never take it off! But I'm a sucker for the colored watches! I just spotted these and love all these colors! The turquoise is my favorite! But..I love the off white and orange too! They have a mother of pearl face with crystal markers. These are awesome! The maker is SKAGEN. They go for $135. So we shall see....! Just wanted to share with you these lovely tickers!

Excitability is down......

The past couple of days I've been dealing with a wax build up in my right ear! I went to ths doctor's on Thursday because I can't hear to well in that ear! It's like going up in a plane and waiting for your ear to pop. It's not painful just extremely uncomfortable! The doctor perscribed antibiotic ear drops to use three times a day. I can't stand using them it seems it fill my ear more with no relief. Ugh! I've never had this happen before. Anyways to say the least excitability is down like in the diagram above! Lol!Any tips for making my ear feel better let me know!
