Feeling a bit sluggish

Yep...... I feel like a pudge! I started this past Monday after the Easter holiday to start eating better. I've been pigging out! Of course while on vacation I ate and drank those yummy ,fruity cocktails that are high in calories!!!Anyways I've decided to eat more greens{salads}like the one above take away the olives. Also adding more fruits too to my diet. It's just so hard to keep on track!I'm a jogger so I run about 2 miles a day or at least 5 times a week. I do try and work out by myself with the weights too. It's just eating right is what needs to change! I also admit I love sweets! Cookies, cakes, pastries...you name it!That's my downfall!Although I love crackers and cheese and chips and dip too!Sigh;.)

So anyways...It's Wednesday and I'm doing a bit better! I'm going for a jog now and wanted to wish you all a healthy day full of healthy choices! Lol! No really!Enjoy!

  3. Yum the sald looks good Tracy. Add some dark olives and feta cheese.Greek style that is LOL.Anyway Im sluggish as well.I think with me its the rain.I get really lethargic when it rains.I dont worry about my weight anymore.I eat only grains and fruits lots of water,Like 12 grain sphaghetti macaroni bread etc.If i havent had a big meal all day I will eat a few brownies.I eat litte meals throught the day when i can, this way you can manage things better and keep the weight down.I had trouble with my weight when the girls were growing up, since no one is here and im on my own I dont even think about what I eat, cause i know Im eating well, thus no problems.I walk and jog as well.Plus I work in a hospital.LOL

  6. Hi Tracy, I have been feeling a bit sluggish of late too, eating too many goodies, feeling content, fatted and lazy. Have not been on blogger for a few days, so unusual for me. Those pics of salads made me feel so hungry for one. I decided right after Easter too, that I was going to eat more sensible, I really need to lose a couple of pounds! I sure do envy you having such good knees that you can go out and jog. :-) Hope all is well with you and yours. Debby

  7. I've been in the same boat... just feeling yucky. So I've started working out again, a couple of weeks now, which helps so much... no time for sitting around eating crackers (my downfall)!
    Good luck to you!
