Little pretties...

Little pretties for the ears that is! I have been creating some romantic, vintage style, rhinestone drop earrings. I love this style. You can wear them dressed up or down and they make you feel special. I thought these would be perfect for the holidays too....a litle extra glitz and you can't go wrong! Anyways, I just thought I would share what I have been creating for the shop. Message me on my Etsy store for a coupon and I will give you 10% off. Just mention that you saw these on my blog.
Enjoy!

Blooms for the hair.....

I've been busy creating all sorts of vintage floral hair combs and headbands that are sure to make a statement! Summer blooms that will never fade!  The bees are buzzing and I actually got a mosquito
bite yesterday...not too happy about those, but nothing beats the beauty of the flowers though!
Enjoy!

Shabby granny green apple

This is the color I describe of this sweet yard stick I have in my yard.  Inspiring because it screams Spring! It is stuck in the cold hard ground and sits in front of a bare bush. It's the only pop in my yard at the moment. I love the sweet texture and color and thought I would share it with you. So it's a shabby, granny green apple kind of day today!
Enjoy,

Just because......

I loved them at first sight! Pink, a bit wilted, perfectly shabby! So I bought them for myself! Yes...I do tend to buy myself flowers all the time. I love fresh flowers around the house to brighten my day. Hubby occasionally brings them home...but in between I need to fill my flower addiction! One time a friend of mine saw me in the store with some in my cart and asked what are they for? I told her..for me of course! Lol! She replied that she never buys flowers. I thought how sad!Actually now that I'm thinking about it I should go buy her some! Everyone needs to have fresh flowers around once in awhile. Anyways ,I thought I would share my bouquet with you. Have a great weekend!

Cherished Moments

As I look at this sweet figurine I can't help but think of cherished moments! Each day is a blessing and sometimes we take every day moments for granted. I'm trying so hard to have a more positive outlook on things and really cherish each little moment that makes me smile. Just like this sweet couple .They look so in love and happy to be together!

I found this adorable figurine at a flea market awhile ago and do not know the origin of it or how old it is. I've had it displayed in my home for awhile and now I'm passing it on to someone who would like to have a smile every time they look at it! It's currently for sale in my Etsy shop.Wishing you all a happy day full of positive thoughts!

NO Cinnamon Rolls This Morning

My son was so funny this morning. I've been on a tea staining tag kick! I love the look of them and then adding my own touches to them is so much fun! So anyways...my son thought I was baking this morning and I pulled out my tags out of the oven and he says.."Oh yummy baked paper!"He had to settle for toaster strudles. Anyways... I've made a few different kinds of sets. The top one is called Unlock the Mystery.
These are called Les Fleurs.

And finally Memories of Paris! These tags are fun and easy to do if you like to do these sort of things. If not and you like these they can easily be found in my Etsy shop! Wishing you a happy day and have a cup of Tea on me! Lol!

What I call my cozy living room....

This is my living room. I took this picture a little while ago...quickly cleaned up the room and took this shot. It's raining outside so the picture is a bit dull!I thought I'd share my eclectic style.A bit of this and that. When we moved in this house 5 years ago it was vacant. I saw a vision! It was dark and drab but it had so much charm! I've told you before it has a wrap around porch and a screened in porch in the back. Every room except for 3 of the bedrooms and baths have a baywindow.I love those windows! Anyways I painted everything! I distressed the mantle and painted the dark paneling all through out the house. I truly love the distressed look especially with three kids!My house is filled with flea market finds....I can't wait to go to the big flea market next week! I will definately be showing you my finds! Thanks for taking a peek into my living room.
