Just out of the oven

Tempting your tummies with these fresh baked, warm ,chocolate croissants! I can't say enough about these. I've blogged about them before, but they are just perfect! My secret is Trader Joes! They come frozen and you need to let them rise overnight. They become puffy in the morning. You brush them with egg and bake... Voila! Here's the finished product! C'est bon! Ooh la la...so light and airy with warm melted chocolate inside. Wishing you a Happy Sunday! Bon Appetite!

Happy Saturday!

Just waking up and already have visions of pancakes and waffles on my mind! I love them! I don't make a habit of eating them all the time but every once in awhile I'll make them on the weekend or even make them for dinner! The kids love it!I actually love chocolate chips in mine!My favotite were at a place I've been to called The Blackberry Farm in Tennesee. They were some kind of blueberry, oatmeal nut combination...oh and they were called griddle cakes! Remind me a bit like these.......

This photo is from Mary Engelbreit's cookbook! Cornmeal Pancakes with Cranberry Compote. Ooh La la!Well Just thought I'd tempt your tummies! I'm off for a jog before I start flipping the cakes! Have great day!

Some of you from Georgia may know La Madeleine's { It's a cute Bisto}He surprised her with chocolate croissants and almond croissants. He brought them home and warmed them in the oven! Ohhh.... Ce'st si bon!I don't know what it is about the weekends and having breakfast but I like to post about food!Lol! Right now I'm having a large cup of cafe au lait. I'm dipping my croissant in my coffee. Yum!It will be another beautiful day here and we are taking my mother in law out to a nice restaurant tonight. Wishing you all a beautiful day!

Sunday Morning Bagel Time

I love Sunday mornings as I've said before...reminds me of France with a hot cup of coffee and a pastry of some sort. Doughnuts are always tastey too but this morning we are having bagels! Soft and chewy with a bit of cream cheese, slightly warmed. I just love them! My favorite right now is the cinnamon crunch bagel! These were from Panera if anyone has one around you will have to try one, I have a sweet tooth so I always go for the ones with more sugar!Wishing you all a happy Sunday! Bon Appetit!
