I started baking again...

 I got the creative urge to make some gift tags . It's one of my favorite things to do. I coffee stained the tags first and baked them. Once again my poor kids came running down the stairs asking what I was baking and I had to tell them paper! It does kinda smell like coffee cake though. Ha! Anyhoo..I then decorated them like so. I plan to give them away as gifts and as extra goodies for customers. They are fun and unique! I have a lot of respect for those who make and sell gift tags. A lot of time and thought goes into them and to me they are extra special! I'm planning on actually baking something real to eat for tomorrow...Ha! Stay tuned!

The chill is in the air

It's chilly outside today and all throughtout the weekend here too! Definately fall is here! The leaves have not peaked here, but there are plenty on the ground! Flock together series

Hello All! I have been a busy beaver lately! Which is a good thing!! Making gift tags like there's no tomorrow. I've got the creative juices flowing for the moment!I hope all is well with everyone and I'm sorry for not posting or checking in. It's funny how when I first started blogging how easy it was to post everyday about something or anything and I had no problem. Now I think to myself well that's silly and not interesting to write about so another day passes...and another. Well this post is especially for my mother in law in France! She is such a sweetie checking in to see if I posted and I keep getting a phone call saying"I still see those crows!" Too funny! SO I thought I would post about my new bird tags. These are called Flock together series. They are great as tags or ornaments! Also new earrings! Aqua blue treasures...Ooh La La! These are in my Etsy shop now. Anyways I'm going to check out the blogs today or this weekend and see what's going on! Take Care!

Here come the crows!

The birds are so creepy to me!I am intrigued by them though. I usually see them in the morning while I'm jogging. They are usually in flocks of 5 or more just grazing in the grass. They are paricularly more interesting in the fall of course! Anyways...these crows are my inspiration for my new Halloween bird tags! They are whimsy and fun and not as creepy as a crow! I've been busy making Fall/Halloween tags for my shop on Etsy and it looks like people are already in the mood for this season. It's my favorite! I grew up in Upstate N.Y and we had the best Fall seasons! I miss it. It's pretty here in Georgia too, but the season doesn't last as long. Well I'll show you my inspirations and wish you all a fabulous week !

Oh Happy Day!

Well how about Oh Happy Week! I made this treasury yesterday on Etsy. It was Monday and I snagged it at the last minute and had to come up with a title and theme all at once! Anyways...I thought "let's be happy today"! The first thing I thought of was the color yellow. Then I thought of my friend's beautiful vintage yellow brooch to start my theme! My friend is Barbara @

Kids back in school and I'm driving them around here and there!The schools have all these functions I need to attend to too! I've been crafting away making new tags. I'm having fun with that! The leaves are actually falling here! My inspiration for these tags....
