Grape Hyacinth

I just love these flowers. I planted lots of bulbs of these a few years ago and they come up every Spring!
Let me tell you I have a brown thumb so these must be hardy! They are so cute and are bright blue. They come from the Lily family. I love to cut a bunch and make a small bouquet in a vase. It's one of the 1st flowers to pop up in my yard. If you like the look of these, plant the bulbs in the Fall. They will not disappoint!

For the love of the red, white & sacre bleu

Skimming through the pages of one of my old Home Companion magazines I found this page with a sweet cottage display.Adorable heart sachets, tiny oldiers and a sequin-embellished Eiffel Tower adorn these shelves edged in pom pom trim. This is a perfect setting and I'll tell you why! Last Sunday my young teenage son went to France by himself for 2 weeks to stay with grandma! This was the first time he has flown by himself and has been gone away for so long.He and grandma are together and she is showing him the sights around Paris,Normandy and he's going to be seeing a day of the Tour de France in Montpellier. {south of France} They are having a great time! I can't wait to hear all about it!!! Remember...grandma doesn't speak English and my son doesn't speak French! This will be an unbelievable experience!!Anyways my thoughts are in France and thinking about the 4th of July! Wishing you all a happy holiday!!

Caribbean Waters

I would like to feature my latest creation. Thoughts of the pretty Caribbean waters come to mind as I look at this necklace! I just love the crystal clear beads and the aqua shell beads mixed together. As I look through my inventory of necklaces, I really must love this color! This necklace can be found in my Etsy shop... www.tiedupmemories.etsy.com

There's just something about this tranquil setting that makes us all Oooh and Ahhhh!! Can you see why this is my inspiration? Wishing you all a happy day!

Any guesses where I went???

Let me just say it's good to get away! Just for a little bit can change your spirit.
Sunrise and a room with a view.
Not just one sea turtle....
But two! Lol!
Palm trees.
Fresh ocean breezes! It's about a 6 hour drive from where I live! It's Amelia Island! We enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for all the lovely comments about me going on vacation post!Just a small break but good enough for rest and relaxation! I'm back now and I even made a necklace. I was inspired by all the blue! This is called Mystic Blue! It can be found in my Lollishop.

Talk to ya later!
