I smile every day at this self portrait of my daughter! It's a favorite of mine! She did this when she was in 1st grade. She is in 4th grade now. Lately she's been asking me to put some things on etsy. I think I'll start on my blog. She will be pleased to see this!I love to frame my children's artwork!Enjoy!

Inspiration

It's a dreary cold and wet day today!I know we are all longing for the warmer temps,pretty flowers and the buzzing bees!At least I am.For inspiration I have one of my favorite photographs that I took in a Paris garden.I love wild flowers ! In this garden,there is a rusty,old tricycle.I just love to look at this for a pick me up and to see all the beautiful colors for inspiration.Enjoy this photo and know that warmer days are ahead!Happy Wednesday!

A cottage setting

Ahhh..... Spring it's almost here...Well in a couple of months at least. Not to bad. In the store I work at I got to create a cottage setting. I just love the robin's egg blue and creme colors together and add some eggs and nests a few birdhouses and you have that cozy cottage feel.If you give me the props and the accessories I can go nuts!

A Must See

My family and I watched this wonderful movie last night! Wow! It was really a great film! My kids even enjoyed it. They put it down by looking at the cover and thought it would be boring but it took their interest right away! In fact it's in german with english subtititles! So I must say to keep the kids watching with subtitles it's one to see!!!If you have not seen this film I recommend you go get it!

Sunday morning

The sun is just peeking out this morning and I'm having a cup of cafe' au lait. On the weekends and especially on Sunday morning I think of France as I'm drinking my coffee . I wish I could go to a Cafe' and sit and people watch while drinking my coffee and having a croissant!I looked back at my photos from our trip a couple years ago and would like to share a favorite place of mine.It's Honfleur.It's a city on the coast of Normandy.
