Happy October

Happy October All! Isn't this the cutest wall hanging! I placed it on my front door!Lilia from Fleamarket Studio made it for me. She contacted me a few weeks ago for a Halloween swap and I was so excited! I just love all her creations and I have always admired her work! I think she is such a creative and talented artist and I told her she was my new best friend after this swap because she spoiled me! When the package arrived it was jam pack filled with goodies!!! A sweet swap from Nada Farm

If you have not been by to see my friend Ann Marie from Na Da Farm..... you must! She is one of the best bloggers out there in my opinion! One day she poppped on by with a sweet hello and we quickly became friends! We decided to do a swap one day and she would make me a skirt and I make her a necklace. She knows I love Anthropologie and makes her own clothing similar in style( a bit bohemian,artsy,comfortable!)She showed me the style skirt and told me to pick my fabric colors. So I did and this is the finished product!!! I love it! The above tag was tied on the beautiful package.

Well here I am striking a pose! The colors are perfect for me! Fall colors which I love!

It even goes perfect with my funky yellow shoes! I would like to thank Ann Marie for the time she took to make me this awesome skirt! An update on the Humpty Dumpty Swap

I while back I shared with you my ATC's that I made for the faerie zine group I'm in on Flickr. The theme was Humpty Dumpty at the circus. As I've told you in the past,I love making these artitist trading cards! They are so much fun and I love the challenge to create tiny works of art!The 1st card I recieved was"Tightrope Humpty" by Angellea......

How cute is he balancing on the tightrope!I just love it! Then I recieved a card from Stacy [Creativemuse]. She didn't put a title but I'll call it "The Dainty Dancing Dumpty"! It put a smile on my face. Too cute!

It's so amazing the creativity one has! We are all alike, but yet so different! What can I say...Two of a kind!

Humpty Dumpty Sat On A Wall

I wanted to share with you my Humpty Dumpty ATC swap. I made these two for my partners I have in The Faerie Zine flicker group I belong to. I really enjoy these swaps! They are so much fun! This is my 2nd time doing this. If you remember a little while back I shared with you the bunny ATC swap. I will be recieving two cards back. I will show you them when I recieve them.

The theme was Humpty Dumpty at the circus! I just love these little cards! I have little easels and display the ones I get here and there around my home. Anyways I just wanted to share with you my little works of art!

First of all thank you for all the incouraging thoughts for me and my dinner dilemmas!Lori...that recipe sounds perfect! I'm making it tonight!! Last night I made a pork tenderloin { I always do those} they are easy.I made mashed potatoes.Okay..I do admit I make the best mashed potatoes!Here is the secret...I use yukon gold potatoes,lots of butter,milk and a little bit of white truffle oil.The white truffle oil turns the potatoes into a 5 star potato!{just a little bit}Then I beat it and keep adding milk to the cosistency I like!Then we had fresh green beans and bread of course and more wine!Lol!My daughter made brownies for desert! Okay enough about food. I would like to share these sweet ATC's I recieved yesterday for the Faerie Zine bunny swap!Remember awhile back I showed you mine I sent,well these are the one's I got. Too cute!The blue one is from Dianne from Dianthus Moon and the pastel one is from Suze from junquedrawerchicks.I just love them. This swap is my 1st one! I'm addicted now!I'm going to display them in my Easter collection display in my front foyer like I did for Valentine's.The picture of the flowers is just a preview of where I'll be putting them!Wishing you all a great day!P.s I still can't figure out how to write underneath photos...this is why the writing is cut off at the top.

My first ATC Swap

I had so much fun creating these ATC's. I'm in a group called The Faerie Zine on Flickr and were having a bunny/spring ATC swap. Well I thought I would show you what I made and I am sending them tomorrow to 2 different partners and I will recieve 2 back!I love to make them!
